Description:
The play "The Wizard of the Emerald City" is based on the fairy tale by the American writer Lyman Frank Baum "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", written in 1900. In Baum's work, we are talking about the most important and necessary - about strong friendship, about faith in oneself, about the ability to win in the most difficult circumstances. Amazing characters come to life on the pages of the book, with whom incredible adventures happen, but the main thing in it is amazing warmth, kindness, optimism. This story has become a real masterpiece and even more than a century later has not lost its relevance. The whole secret is that this is a fairy tale about the eternal: goodness, honor and friendship.
