Wonderful program and incredible performance - on September 27, the Odessa Philharmonic will host a concert of the National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Hobart Earle!

Music of two great musicians Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 and Haydn's Symphony No. 60, performed by the orchestra and the Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko.

Alexey was born in Odessa in 1988. He began playing the violin at the age of six under the guidance of Zoya Mertsalova, in which Yuri Bashmet studied at one time. The young violinist won a victory at the children's festival in Odessa, after which he was invited to perform as a soloist with the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra (now NOFO).

Studied at the Odessa Music Academy named after Antonina Nezhdanova. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Cologne Higher School of Music in the class of Professor Zakhar Bron. With his victories at the international Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels in 2015, as well as at the Young Concert Artists Auditions in New York in 2012, the Ukrainian violinist Oleksiy Semenenko declared that he belongs to the world elite of young musicians. Today he is actively involved in the musical life of Europe and America.
