"Number 13" - Ray Cooney's play - is a comedy of provisions in its purest form
For the third decade in a row, "№13" has been successfully performing on the stage around the world. The play entered the golden fund of the British Theater as one of the best English comedies of the twentieth century.
The action takes place in the hotel in 13 rooms ...
At the heart of the story is Assistant Prime Minister Richard Willie, who has decided to skip the parliamentary debate, preferring to talk actively. He rents a hotel room and brings the secretary there.
Everything could have ended quite predictably, but a "third extra" appears on the stage - a private detective accidentally crushed by a window frame, spying on a couple from the balcony of a hotel room. Richard and Jane's secretary are worried about where to take the corpse to avoid a scandal! And here the service staff is always interfering, then, suddenly Mr. Willie's wife arrived, then the jealous husband of the secretary ...
The horror is that every step only confuses the situation! The plot of the play twists and acquires new details and twists throughout the play, making the audience laugh to tears ...
