The interweaving of complex choreography and deep drama. The Odessa Opera puts on the performances "Chopiniana" and "Carmen Suite".

Chopiniana is a choreographic suite set to music by Frederic Chopin in a restored version of Nadezhda Fyodorova. The production is one of the most striking examples of neo-romantic ballet at the beginning of the last century. The work delights with musical beauty and captivates with subtle dance grace.

Chopiniana vividly reveals the age-old conflict between dream and reality. The illusion of the ideal and the impossibility of dreams intertwined in a romantic impulse.

Choreography - Mikhail Fokin.
The production designer is Natalia Bevzenko-Zinkina, Honored Artist of Ukraine.
The play is hosted by Natalia Grigor.

Carmen Suite is a ballet created by composer Rodion Shchedrin on the basis of the famous opera by Georges Bizet. This bright work is saturated with love and freedom that passionate Carmen breathes. A lively gypsy woman is opposed by faceless puppet masks.

The chic ballet performance impresses with the sophisticated choreography and grace of the dancers.

Libretto and choreography by Alberto Alonso.
The play is hosted by Natalia Grigor.
