About event

"Emigrants" is one of the most famous plays of Polish drama and world theater in general, which frankly talks about what they usually try not to show.

Two emigrants, whose names we do not even know, are very different, although they found themselves in the same situation - without their families, without the opportunity to work with children and enjoy their success, in a foreign country: one earns by digging ditches, the other - fled from countries due to political persecution and plans to write an important book on values.

Due to circumstances, men rent cheap housing in the basement (at the bottom) and are forced to celebrate the New Year together.

Therefore, they finally have the opportunity to communicate frankly and say the unsaid.

Everyone is sure that he knows his neighbor as flaky, and he has something to reproach. So, will they be able to hear each other, what secrets will be revealed, whom are they deceiving first of all, talking about their plans and dreams, what will happen as a result of the collision of two different worldviews?
