At the premises of the Yen Han Ballet Company Zurich Opera House, Alexei Botvinov (piano solo).

Choreography:
Heinz Sperley, The Nocturnes Ballet to Chopin's music
Filipe Portuguese, the ballet "Orpheus and Eurydice" to the music of Glass
Ken Ossolo, the dawn ballet to the music of Rachmaninov

Aleksey Botvinov finally fulfills his long-standing dream of showing an Odessa audience an example of his collaboration with the world of modern choreography and his long-standing creative partner, leading Swiss choreographer Heinz Sperli.

Botvinova and Sperley are linked by more than two decades of creative cooperation, hundreds and hundreds of performances in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and South Africa.

Constant performances for 16 years at the Zurich Opera House, full seasons of performances in Berlin, Strassburg, the great Milanese “La Scala” - including the masterpiece of the 20th century choreography by Sperley’s Goldberg Variations to Bach's music - the collaboration of the pianist and choreographer is unique in modern ballet scene. And so the favorite prima ballerina of the Zurich ballet of the last 2 decades, Ian Khan, creates her own ballet troupe, where she is also a leading dancer. After a sensationally successful debut at the Shanghai Festival in the fall of 2019, the new project is gaining momentum, and an evening of 3 ballets is created, going to the piano solo music performed by Alexei Botvinov. Along with the famous masterpiece of Heinz Sperli- “Nocturnes” to Chopin’s music, Filipe Portugal will present their new creations to Philippe Portugal, Ian Khan’s long-time partner in the Sperli troupe and the famous dancer and choreographer Ken Ossola, who came from Jiri Killian’s NDT company.

An evening of modern choreography in the neoclassical style - combining the special sincerity of emotional vigor based on the technical excellence of classical ballet - combined with live music - will bring unforgettable emotions to the Ukrainian audience and a new cultural experience.
